Abstract

L'objectif de cette communication est de présenter de nouvelles orientations pour la recherche dans le domaine des systèmes d'information et de l'écologie. A travers une revue de la littérature nous présentons dans la première partie cinq mauvaises hypothèses sur le rôle des TIC dans l'environnement: papier, transports, commerce électronique, consommation d'énergie, e-déchets ... les T.I.C. ne contribuent pas à créer un monde plus respectueux de l'environnement. L'objectif de la seconde partie est de discuter de trois hypothèses récemment mises en avant sur le rôle positif que pourrait jouer les TIC : en matière de préservation de l'environnement par la simulation et le calcul, en matière d'efficacité énergétique par l'innovation technologique et enfin en matière de surveillance et de mobilisation des réseaux citoyens. Beaucoup de questions de recherche sont alors susceptibles d'être développés, et c'est l'objet de la troisième partie, développant cadre d'analyse des recherches sur la responsabilité : responsabilité sociale des entreprises, mais aussi responsabilité sociale politique et responsabilité sociale individuelle.
