Estudio de caracterización socioeconómica y demográficade los afiliados al régimen subsidiado de salud, Colombia 2019-2020

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una caracterización socioeconómica y demográfica de las personas afiliadas al régimen subsidiado en el Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud en Colombia, representativa a nivel nacional a partir de las Encuestas de Calidad de Vida de 2019 y 2020. Luego de realizar análisis de correspondencias múltiples y mapas factoriales, se logra identificar el perfil estándar que corresponde a las personas más vulnerables en términos socioeconómicos, pero que difieren a través de variables demográficas como la edad, el sexo y el lugar de residencia, entre otras. Asimismo, al estimar un modelo logit se encuentra una mayor probabilidad de pertenecer al régimen subsidiado, frente al contributivo, para quienes están en condiciones de pobreza multidimensional, pertenecen a las minorías étnicas y residen en zonas rurales.
