Abstract

Ce rapport est une synthèse des 27 articles restants dont 14 s'intéressaient au fardeau économique lié à l'obésité pédiatrique et les autres sur les rapports coûts-efficacité et coûts-bénéfices des interventions. Le premier chapitre porte sur la définition de l'obésité, les moyens de mesurer (ou diagnostiquer) l'obésité chez les enfants, les méthodes utilisées pour estimer les coûts économiques de l'obésité et les mesures des résultats de santé. Le deuxième présente la synthèse des évaluations de la prévalence de l'obésité et des coûts qui y sont liés. Le troisième définit les différentes méthodes d'évaluation économique pour appuyer la prise de décision et fait la synthèse des articles retenus à cet égard.
