Intraregional Trade In West Africa

Abstract

ujhis report documents trade among 18 west African countries. Recorded trade data were collected from official sources, and a method was developed for estimating unrecorded trade. The role of trade in the economies of major exporters and importers is discussed. The report focuses on trade in agricultural commodities, including livestock, grains, and vegetable oils.
