Bestimmungsfaktoren der Silomaisproduktion - Eine räumlich-ökonometrische Analyse

Abstract

Der Ausbau der Silomaisproduktion hat in den letzten Jahren eine dynamische Entwicklung erlebt. Dies geschah vor dem Hintergrund kontinuierlich abnehmender Rinderbestände und einem rasanten Anstieg der Biogasproduktion. Angaben zum tatsächlichen Anbauumfang von Silomais für die deutsche Biogaserzeugung divergieren für das Jahr 2010 zwischen 500 000 ha und 800 000 ha. Auf Basis der im Rahmen dieser Studie entwickelten räumlich-ökonometrischen Schätzmodelle, kann eine Abschätzung des Einsatzes von Silomais in der Biogasproduktion und Milch- und Rinderhaltung am Beispiel des Bundeslandes Bayern gegeben werden. So beträgt der durchschnittlich geschätzte Anteil von Silomais an der landwirtschaftlichen Nutzfläche in Bayern 4,5 % für die Biogasproduktion und für die Milch- und Rindviehhaltung durchschnittlich 7,2 %. Für energetische Zwecke werden zudem schät-zungsweise 40 % der Gesamtproduktion von Silomais eingesetzt. Durch die Ergebnisse dieser Studie kann ein möglicher weiterer Ausbau der Biogasproduktion umfassender bewertet werden. Mögliche Nutzungskonkurrenzen zwischen traditionellen Agrarsystemen und der Biogasproduktion sollten regional differenziert und auf einem möglichst hoch auflösenden räumlichen Aggregationsniveau betrachtet werden.
