Evaluierung der nationalen Förderung im Förderprogramm Eurostars 1 (2008-2013)

Abstract

[Zusammenfassung] Dieser Bericht fasst die Ergebnisse einer Evaluierung der nationalen Förderung im Programm Eurostars 1 zusammen. Das Programm Eurostars 1 lief von 2008 bis 2013 als ein gemeinsames Programm der Initiative EUREKA und der Europäischen Kommission. Ziel des Programms war es, international orientierte Innovationsprojekte von forschungstreiben-den kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) zu unterstützen. Gefördert wurden kooperative FuE-Projekte, an denen zumindest zwei Partner aus unterschiedlichen Mitgliedsländern der EUREKA-Initiative beteiligt waren, darunter mindestens ein forschungstreibendes KMU in der Federführung. Das Programm war für alle Technologiefelder und Themenbereiche in der zivilen Forschung offen. Die nationale Förderung in Deutschland im Rahmen des Programms Eurostars 1 hat im Förderzeitraum 2008-2013 insgesamt 247 Teilvorhaben zu 144 unterschiedlichen Verbundprojekten finanziell gefördert. 139 Teilvorhaben betrafen KMU, 94 Forschungseinrichtungen, 12 Großunternehmen und 2 sonstige Organisationen. Insgesamt haben 120 unterschiedliche KMU und 51 unterschiedliche Forschungseinrichtungen aus Deutschland Förderungen aus dem Programm erhalten. Das gesamte Fördervolumen für deutsche Teilnehmer inkl. des Beitrag der EU-Kommission belief sich auf 66,81 Mio. €. 53 % der Fördermittel gingen an KMU, 45 % an Forschungseinrichtungen und 2 % an Großunternehmen oder sonstige Organisationen.
