Abstract

Erkenntnisse, Strategien und Zukunftsperspektiven - unter diesen Gesichtspunkten setzen sich die Autorinnen und Autoren des Sammelbandes "Transformationsprozesse in Stadt und Land" mit aktuellen Fragen des räumlichen Wandels auseinander. Wie kann die Große Transformation aktiv kommuniziert werden? Welche Stellschrauben können verändert werden, um ein wünschenswertes Ergebnis - im Sinne einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung - zu erreichen? Wie kann räumliche Transformation am konkreten Beispiel und zielgerichtet gestaltet werden? Der Sammelband widmet sich der Forderung aus Wissenschaft und Praxis nach einer ganzheitlichen Betrachtung. In diesem Sinne zeigt die Pluralität der vertretenen Fachgebiete unterschiedliche Perspektiven auf das Thema "Räumliche Transformation" auf und bereichert den aktuellen Diskurs um verschiedene Ansätze, die sich zwischen Forschung und Praxis bewegen. Dies ermöglicht eine vertiefende und weiterführende Auseinandersetzung mit Transformationswissen. Die unterschiedlichen Zugänge zu Fragen der räumlichen Transformation lassen sich in folgende Themenfelder gliedern: Governance und Planungsansätze, Kommunikation und Akzeptanz, Landnutzungsstrategien. Die ausgewählten Beiträge stellen nur einen Ausschnitt aus der Vielfalt der Betrachtungs- und Herangehensweisen sowie räumlichen Kontextualisierungen dar. Sie sind jedoch ein Baustein in der Gesamtdiskussion um räumliche Transformation. Dieser Sammelband versteht sich als komplementärer Appell an Wissenschaft und Praxis, relevante Fragestellungen kontinuierlich zu formulieren und dafür inter- und transdisziplinäre Lösungsansätze perspektivisch weiterzuentwickeln, zu reflektieren und er lädt dazu ein, das eigene Blickfeld zu erweitern.
