Tourismusstrategische Ausrichtung 2015: Weichenstellung im österreichischen Tourismus für mehr Wachstum und Beschäftigung

Abstract

Die Studie analysiert die wichtigsten Wettbewerbsdeterminanten für die Tourismusdestination Österreich und entwickelt darauf aufbauend einen Katalog tourismuspolitischer Maßnahmen, die es erlauben, die österreichischen Marktanteilsverluste einzudämmen und die Wettbewerbsposition zu verbessern. Kernstück der Wachstumsstrategie sind die Steigerung des Internationalisierungsgrades und die Forcierung des Ganzjahrestourismus durch die einheitliche Ausrichtung der Förder- und Forschungspolitik der relevanten tourimuspolitischen Entscheidungsträger. Die Koordination der tourismuspolitischen Aktivitäten könnte durch den Bund erfolgen, wobei dies in einem eigenen Tourismusgesetz geregelt werden sollte.
