Abstract

Ein Forscherteam der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien und des WIFO analysiert Entwicklung und Potentiale der "Creative Industries" (Produktionsbereiche und Dienstleistungen, für die Kreativität eine besondere Rolle spielt) in Wien. Das WIFO befasst sich dabei vor allem mit den Beschäftigungschancen in diesem neuen Schwerpunktfeld der Wiener Wirtschaftspolitik. In detaillierten Analysen wird geklärt, welche Arbeitsplätze in diesem Bereich entstehen, welche Beschäftigungsgruppen davon profitieren, und welche Rekrutierungsmechanismen in diesem "Zukunftsbereich" vorherrschen. Die dabei generierten Informationen sollen nicht nur die Einschätzung von Beschäftigungspotentialen erleichtern, sondern auch Aussagen über mögliche Personalengpässe und konkrete Qualifizierungsanforderungen in den Creative Industries ermöglichen.
