Analyse spatio-temporelle des disparités régionales de l’emploi industriel en Tunisie sur la période 2003-2018

Abstract

L’article s’intéresse à la localisation de l’emploi industriel en Tunisie sur la période 2003-2018. Il s’agit de mettre en évidence l’évolution de la concentration de l’emploi du secteur manufacturier privé à l’échelle des délégations et de discuter l’efficacité des politiques économiques mises en œuvre pour réduire les inégalités géographiques après la Révolu-tion du 14 Janvier 2011 et le printemps arabe qui s’en est suivi. Pour cela nous proposons une approche exploratoire spatio-temporelle des données spatiales (ESTDA). Les résultats montrent l’existence d’une concentration de l’emploi qui a tendance à diminuer après la Révolution. Néanmoins, on identifie toujours un regroupement local de l’emploi marqué dans la région du littoral. Les résultats montrent également que de nouvelles formes de disparités régionales apparaissent, essentiellement entre les régions du littoral plutôt qu’entre le littoral et l’intérieur du pays. Cette réalité souligne le besoin de renforcer les politiques de développement régional, même dans un contexte de stagnation ou de faible croissance de l’emploi industriel.
