Modellierung des Carbon Footprints verschiedener Systeme zur Behandlung von Restabfällen

Abstract

Legislation demands the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from waste management. In order to assess and compare the carbon footprint of different residual municipal solid waste management systems, a model was developed covering the main treatment technologies and being adaptable to varying background systems. As a result, exemplary calculations are presented.
