Różnice kulturowe a międzynarodowa współpraca przedsiębiorstw

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest analiza wybranych aspektów międzynarodowej współpracy przedsiębiorstw funkcjonujących w różnych kręgach kulturowych. Analizę przeprowadzono na przykładzie polskich przedsiębiorstw współpracujących z partnerami z Chin i Niemiec. W artykule dokonano przeglądu koncepcji dotyczących relacji przedsiębiorstw oraz najpowszechniej używanych w analizach porównawczych typologii kultur narodowych. Następnie przeanalizowano wyniki wcześniejszych badań kultur Polski, Chin i Niemiec, co dało podstawy do twierdzenia, że państwa te należą do odrębnych kręgów kulturowych. Studia literatury pozwoliły na sformułowanie szeregu hipotez dotyczących zależności relacji przedsiębiorstw od kraju pochodzenia i od kierunku współpracy (eksport-import). Hipotezy te zostały zweryfikowane na podstawie wyników badania empirycznego na próbie 280 przedsiębiorstw z wykorzystaniem metody CATI. W dalszej części artykułu otrzymane wyniki badania zostały poddane ogólniejszej dyskusji. Jej efektem są między innymi sugestie co do dalszych badań w podjętym zakresie przedstawione w końcowej części artykułu. Większość hipotez dotyczących zależności między poszczególnymi aspektami prowadzonej współpracy a czynnikami kulturowymi nie została potwierdzona. Znaczące różnice w relacjach biznesowych między współpracą polskich przedsiębiorstw z partnerami chińskimi i niemieckimi dotyczą jedynie ryzyka i elastyczności, natomiast eksporterzy różnią się od importerów w zakresie postrzeganego podobieństwa do partnera, co pozwala twierdzić, że zarówno kraj pochodzenia partnera, jak i kierunek współpracy tylko w ograniczonym stopniu są czynnikami różnicującymi relacje przedsiębiorstw.
