Ein Bund fuers Ueberleben? Betriebliche Vereinbarungen zur Beschaeftigungs- und Standortsicherung

Abstract

In der Diskussion um die Zukunft des dualen Systems der industriellen Beziehungen spielen betriebliche Buendnisse zur Beschaeftigungs- und Standortsicherung eine wichtige Rolle - als Moeglichkeit der Flexibilisierung des vermeintlich starren Tarifvertragssystems und Ausdruck des generellen Trends zur Verbetrieblichung. Urspruenglich als Mittel zur Rettung existenzbedrohter Betriebe gedacht, werden solche Vereinbarungen mittlerweile haeufig zur generellen Verbesserung der Wettbewerbsfaehigkeit genutzt. In dem Beitrag wird auf Basis des IAB-Betriebspanels zunaechst ein deskriptiver UEberblick ueber die Verbreitung betrieblicher Buendnisse in der Privatwirtschaft gegeben, mit dem Augenmerk auf die Unterscheidung von Krisen- und Wettbewerbsbuendnissen. In der anschliessenden multivariaten Analyse wird den Einflussfaktoren fuer den Abschluss betrieblicher Buendnisse nachgegangen. Wie sich herausstellt, erweist sich die Unterscheidung nach dem Buendnismotiv tatsaechlich als fruchtbar, da die Betriebe im Vorfeld abweichende Charakteristika vor allem hinsichtlich ihrer ‚Performance’ zeigen.
