La mimetizzazione dell'attività estorsiva e i diversi tipi di autorità extralegale nei mercati illegali e legali

Abstract

Le organizzazioni criminali mafiose italiane ritengono centrale per la loro strategia criminale l'attività estorsiva, praticandola sia nei mercati legali che in quelli illegali. La persistenza e la trasformazione dell'attività estorsiva ne fanno un reato madre in quanto, nelle aree di tradizionale radicamento, feconda il modello organizzativo mafioso e l'attività è propedeutica allo sviluppo di ulteriori traffici illegali. Occorre perciò trasformare l'indirizzo delle politiche di contrasto al crimine, perché alcuni reati hanno effetti e danni maggiori di altri e la loro natura gemma una sequenzialità ed evoluzione incrementale di altri reati. In Italy extortion and racketeering are still the pivotal activities of different mafia organizations because they have turned into a spring which enables further illegal mafia activities. This is the reason why it is necessary to modify anti-crime policies, organizing and selecting them according to a specific hierarchy. Not only certain crimes can be more harmful than others but they can also initiate a sequence of other crimes.
