Abstract

[eng] The physiocratic project : theory of property and social link. . This paper gives an interpretation of the physiocratic project. This project tries to link together the economical and the political spheres by means of a theory of property. First, we analyse, through the works of F. Quesnay, the making of this economie theory of property grounded on the study of the social relationships in agriculture, on the market relationships and on the fiscal System. With this last item we reach the political aspect of the project. F. Quesnay proposes the property as the social link fitted to unify the different parts of the Ancien Regime. Finally, we outline briefly the disintegration of this project during the revolutionary period.
