Abstract

A technológiai-gazdasági paradigmára épülő elmélet alkalmas elemzési keretet nyújt a technológiai és az intézményi változások összefonódásának megértésében. Csak lassú intézményi átalakulási folyamat során alakul ki az összhang az új technológia és az intézmények között. A technológiai paradigmaváltás során az amerikai intéz ményrendszer az európainál sokkal jobban alkalmazkodott az infokommunikációs forradalomhoz. A tanulmány két területen - a munkapiac és a vállalati szervezet te rén - mutatja be, hogy az élenjáró posztszocialista és a nyugat-európai országok egyaránt szembesülnek a infokommunikációs forradalom követelményeinek megfe lelő intézményrendszer kialakításának problémájával.
