A felsőoktatási környezet hatása a vállalkozói életpálya választására. Nemzetközi összehasonlító elemzés, 2006
[The effect of higher-education environment on choice of entrepreneurial career. An international comparative analysis in 2006]

Abstract

A jelenlegi nemzetközi kutatások alapján a jövőbeli gazdasági növekedésért és a munkahelyteremtésért az újonnan alapított cégek egy kis része, az úgynevezett gazellák a felelősek. A gazellákat alapító, működtető vállalkozók egyik jellemző vonása, hogy felsőfokú, egyetemi végzettséggel rendelkeznek. Ugyanakkor ma már számos más, esetleg kisebb növekedési képességű, újonnan létrehozott cég tulajdonosa is diplomás. Többek között ezért is fontos azt tudni, hogy az egyetemi-főiskolai hallgatók körében mekkora a végzés után vállalkozni szándékozók aránya. A tanulmány a Collegiate Entrepreneruship 2006 elnevezésű, 14 országra és több mint 37 ezer hallgatóra kiterjedő nemzetközi felmérés adatait felhasználva elemzi nyolc magyar egyetem 3346 hallgatójának vállalkozói ambícióit. A vizsgálat megállapításai szerint a magyar hallgatók nemzetközi szereplése átlagosnak, a minőségi kritériumokat figyelembe véve pedig átlag alattinak mondható. A vizsgálat azonban pozitív hatást mutatott ki a vállalkozói kurzusokat felvevők és a vállalkozói karriert választók között. Az ok-okozati kapcsolat meggyőző bizonyítása és a kapcsolat erőssége azonban újabb vizsgálatokat tesz szükségessé. A tanulmány oktatáspolitikára vonatkozó gazdasági ajánlásokat is tartalmaz. A vállalkozói kurzusok kötelezővé tétele a nem gazdasági felsőfokú oktatásban és a felnőttképzés keretében - igazodva a világban tapasztalható tendenciákhoz, valamint a hallgatók elképzeléseihez - elősegítené a diplomások vállalkozói karrierjét.
