Gondolatok a gazdasági növekedés néhány problémájáról

Abstract

Örvendetes, hogy a magyar gazdaság 1996 második felében növekedésnek indult. Nem közömbös azonban, hogy milyen lesz a következő években e növekedés üteme és minősége. Nem lassú, hanem az európai átlagot meghaladó ütemű, ugyanakkor tartós fennmaradásra képes, folyamatosan egyensúlyőrző növekedésre van szükség. Ehhez elengedhetetlen, hogy a modernizációs folyamatok felgyorsuljanak, erősödjék a kínálat potenciálja, aktivitása és versenyképesssége. A megfelelő ütemű és minőségű gazdasági növekedés meghatározott követelményeket támaszt a belső kereslet és az export.import alakulásával szemben. Az ilyen növekedés megalapozásának két legfontosabb eleme: az infláció visszaszorítása, valamint a beruházások (különösen a vállalkozói fejlesztések) lendületes bővülése; ez célirányos gazdaságpolitikát, a megfelelő feltételek kialakulását igényli.
