A Debreu-féle neowalrasi általános egyensúlyelmélet antiempirista axiomatizmusa
[The anti-empirical axiomatism of neo-Walrasian general equilibrium theory]

Abstract

A neoklasszikus közgazdaságtan hívei az általános egyensúlyelmélet Debreu-féle modelljére a gazdaságelmélet csúcsaként tekintenek. Tanulmányom célja az elmélet módszertani hátterének és tapasztalati relevanciájának vizsgálata, különös tekintettel az axiomatikus tárgyalásmód mögött meghúzódó érvekre. Az axiomatikus módszer sikeres alkalmazásaira adott példákat követően bemutatom, hogy semmilyen tartalmi kapcsolat nincs a természettudományok tapasztalati megfigyelésekből származó axiomatizmusa és az általános egyensúlyelmélet halmazelméleti axiomatizmusa között, mert utóbbinak nincsen empirikus tartalma. A tanulmány második részében az elmélet egymástól szélsőségesen eltérő értelmezéseit tekintem át. A téma tárgyalásának jelentőségét az elmélet tartós népszerűsége mellett az adja, hogy az érintett problémák a közgazdaságtan más elméleteiben is előfordulnak.
