A közgazdaságtan felszabadítása. A neoklasszikus ortodoxia és az intézményi közgazdaságtan közötti ellentét néhány módszertani kérdése
[Freedom for economics. Some methodological aspects of the neoclassical v. institutional controversy]

Abstract

A szerző általános tudományfilozófiai és tudományszociológiai érvek alapján mutatja be, hogy milyen okok miatt maradt el a főáramkritikák által régen sürgetett közgazdasági paradigmaváltás. Az intézményi és a főáramú közgazdaságtant a maguk sajátos érdeklődése sajátos módszertani utakra terelte, ennek következtében lehetetlenné vált egymás megközelítéseinek kölcsönös elfogadása. Érdeklődésükből és az ehhez tartozó módszertanokból adódóan az iskolák nem fordíthattak figyelmet a gazdasági-társadalmi valóság bizonyos mechanizmusaira. Ez a kölcsönös elhatárolódás azonban tökéletesen összeegyeztethető a megközelítések közötti kiegészítő viszonnyal. Ha felismerjük, hogy a kiegészítő viszonyból vitáink eldönthetetlensége következik, ezzel elősegítjük, hogy megszabaduljunk a kortárs közgazdaságtan terméketlen és megosztó konfliktusaitól.* Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: B13, B15, B41, C12.
