Fejlődés vagy növekedés?
[Development or growth?]

Abstract

A gazdaságtan feladata változóban van. A növekedés korlátaiba ütközve, érdeklődése, módszereinek, gondolatmeneteinek, sőt szavainak és fogalmainak használata is lassan, de határozottan módosul. Az "egyensúly" vizsgálata helyt ad a "fenntartható növekedési pálya" tárgyalásának. A "többtermelés" helyett a "szép", "olcsó", "tartós", "újrahasznosítható" terméket keresi. A munkát megtakarító újítások ma inkább a munkahét és az életpálya változását támasztják alá, és nem a többlettermelést. A fogyasztási piacokon a fejlett országokban érezhetően könnyebben alakul ki a túltermelés, és mélyebbek a válságok. Ezt az egyre harsányabb és erőszakosabb reklámhadjáratok is jelzik. Ideje felülvizsgálni a régi gondolkodást, számítási és elemzési modelleket. Erre indít egyrészt a régi fogalmak szükséges tisztázása és megújításának vágya, másrészt éppen a jövő tervezett, rendezett és főként takarékos gazdálkodásának kényszere.
