Várakozások, stabilitás és működőképesség az együttélő korosztályok egy realista modelljében
[Expectations, stability and capability to operate in a realistic model of coexisting cohorts]

Abstract

Ebben a dolgozatban az együttélő nemzedékek modelljének sok korosztályos általánosítását vizsgáljuk, nevezetesen az együttélő korosztályok modelljét (angol rövidítés: OLC). Minden időszakban a különböző korú szereplők előrejelzéseket tesznek az életük végéig bekövetkező kamattényezőkről, és a hátralévő fogyasztási pályájuk hasznosságát maximalizálják a zéró várható örökség feltevése mellett. Minden időszakban egy koordinátor olyan új kamattényezőt határoz meg, amely mellett a társadalom teljes fogyasztása egyenlő a társadalom teljes keresetével. A cikk mondanivalója a következő: 1. az OLC-modellben a racionális várakozások melletti dinamika nemcsak instabil, hanem működésképtelen is; 2. az OLC-modellben a naiv várakozások melletti dinamika nemcsak aszimptotikusan stabil, hanem tág környezetben működőképes is.
