Capabilities e business: sulla possibilit? dell?impresa come comunit? di persone

Abstract

Economia e benessere. Felicit? e sviluppo. Da quando il Capability Approach ha travolto lo scenario delle politiche macro-economica, questi due binomi si sono imposti come elementi cardine di una riflessione che sempre pi? ha cercato di ricomprendere le sue fondamenta etiche. La centralit? del concetto di "persona" e - soprattutto - la necessit? di riscoprirne gli elementi costitutivi, ha garantito al Cability Approach un successo applicativo che si ? esteso ben oltre l?ambito delle politiche economiche. D?altro canto, e paradossalmente, l?etica delle capacit? non ha ancora trovato applicazione in quel sistema micro-economico con cui ci troviamo a pi? stretto contatto: l?attivit? d?impresa. Ad eccezione delle organizzazioni no-profit, non si ? ancora riconosciuta al Capability Approach la possibilit? di contribuire in modo decisivo sia allo sviluppo organizzativo che alla felicit? delle persone che "vivono" nell?organizzazione. Nonostante i frequenti proclami di management umanistico e l?apertura verso le strategie di empowerment organizzativo, le imprese non sembrano ancora avere colto realmente quanto il "fattore persona" stia a fondamento del loro stesso essere. Riconoscere il valore di questo fondamento, allora, significa innanzi tutto riscoprire e ricollocare adeguatamente il concetto di "persona" entro le pratiche di business; significa, poi, ripercorrere i tentativi che, come l?empowerment, hanno gi? tracciato una via in questa direzione. In ultimo, significa rileggere questi tentativi alla luce dell?etica delle capacit?, per riscoprirne un senso pi? profondo, che, oltre a potenziarli, permetta di "illuminare" il "volto nascosto" - originariamente umano - delle relazioni che strutturano non solo le strategie organizzative, ma l?organizzazione stessa. Questo percorso non pu? che essere condotto adottando la "lente fenomenologica", l?unica che ci assicura di risalire a un momento originario in cui il punto di vista economico e quello etico convergeranno nel riconoscimento dell?impresa come comunit? di persone.
