Dinamiche di collaborazione interospedaliera: un?analisi longitudinale nella regione Abruzzo

Abstract

Il presente lavoro utilizza teorie e metodi di indagine propri dell?analisi delle reti sociali per studiare l?evoluzione dei network di collaborazione interorganizzativa tra i presidi ospedalieri della Regione Abruzzo nel triennio 2009-2011. Dall?analisi emerge che gli ospedali collaborano sulla base di un?intrinseca memoria costituita dalle relazioni pregresse e da meccanismi endogeni di auto-organizzazione della rete di assistenza. Anche il contesto aziendale di appartenenza, i posti letto, la distanza geografica dagli altri presidi, la percentuale di ammessi in emergenza e di ricoveri inappropriati incidono sulla propensione degli ospedali a collaborare. Le implicazioni per manager e policy makers sono discusse.
