Chef oder Praktikant – wer beantwortet eigentlich die Fragebögen in den ifo Konjunkturumfragen?

Abstract

Der ifo Geschäftsklimaindex gilt als wichtigster Index für die deutsche Wirtschaft. Die Validität der Ergebnisse hängt unter anderem davon ab, wer die monatlichen Fragebögen in der Konjunkturumfrage ausfüllt. Sind es die Inhaber des Unternehmens, Vorstandsmitglieder, die Geschäftsführung, die Abteilungsleitung oder doch das Sekretariat oder die Praktikanten? Der vorliegende Artikel gibt Antworten basierend auf einer im November und 2018 gestellten Sonderfrage. Es zeigt sich, dass die Fragebögen in großer Mehrheit von der Geschäftsführung beantwortet werden.
