ifo Konjunkturumfrage im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe: Konjunkturelle Hochlage führt zu Engpässen

Abstract

Zu Beginn des Jahres 2018 bewerteten die an der ifo Konjunkturumfrage teilnehmenden Unternehmen des Verarbeitenden Gewerbes ihren Geschäftsverlauf als so gut wie noch nie seit der Wiedervereinigung. Seitdem hat sich die Lage zwar leicht abgekühlt, die Situation stellt sich aber nach wie vor sehr gut dar. Gleichzeitig war im Jahresverlauf ein erheblicher Anstieg der Anzahl der Firmen zu verzeichnen, die über negative Einflüsse auf ihre Produktionstätigkeit klagten. Vor allem die Faktoren Fachkräftemangel sowie Material- und Rohstoffengpässe traten dabei vermehrt zum Vorschein. Der Artikel stellt die vierteljährlich erhobene Frage nach Produktionsbehinderungen im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe genauer vor und beleuchtet die aktuellen Entwicklungen und deren Hintergründe näher.
