Vierteljährlicher Realwert des BIP und Terms of Trade: Ölpreisanstieg dämpft Expansion

Abstract

Das Statistische Bundesamt veröffentlicht neben dem realen Bruttoinlandsprodukt regelmäßig auch den Realwert des Bruttoinlandsprodukts. Die beiden Schlüsselindikatoren unterscheiden sich um den Terms-of-Trade-Effekt. Der Beitrag präsentiert aktuelle vierteljährliche Ergebnisse. Sie zeigen, dass im Jahr 2016 in Deutschland die Kaufkraft der im heimischen Wirtschaftsprozess entstandenen Einkommen zum vierten Mal in Folge stärker zugenommen hat als das reale Bruttoinlandsprodukt. Dies gilt allerdings nur in der Jahresdurchschnittsbetrachtung, in der sich vorrangig die ölpreisbedingte Verbesserung der Terms of Trade vom Winterhalbjahr 2015/16 und damit ein Überhangsphänomen widerspiegelt. Im unterjährigen konjunkturellen Verlauf zeigt sich, dass die Expansion der Realeinkommen seit dem zweiten Quartal 2016 aufgrund von Terms-of-Trade-Verlusten im Zusammenhang mit dem Anstieg des Ölpreises und dem Wertverlust des Euro im Vergleich zum preisbereinigten Bruttoinlandsprodukt schwächer gewesen ist. Der Realwert des BIP nahm saison- und kalenderbereinigt von zweiten bis zum vierten Quartal 2016 nur um 0,7% zu, das preisbereinigte BIP dagegen um 1,0%. Seit dem vergangenen Frühjahr fällt damit die wirtschaftliche Dynamik in Deutschland, gemessen an der konjunkturelle Zunahme des gesamtwirtschaftlichen Realeinkommens, etwas geringer aus, als es in den laufenden Quartalsraten des preisbereinigten Bruttoinlandsprodukts zum Ausdruck kommt.
