Mittelfristige Projektion der Vermögenseinkommen aus grenzüberschreitenden Kapitalanlagen

Abstract

Das deutsche Nettoauslandsvermögen hat sich in den vergangenen 20 Jahren spürbar erhöht. Im Zuge dessen sind auch die deutschen Vermögenseinkommen aus den Kapitalanlagen im Ausland gestiegen und ihre Bedeutung für die Konjunkturprognose hat zugenommen. Kapitalerträge aus dem Ausland tragen zum Bruttonationaleinkommen und somit indirekt auch zum gesamtwirtschaftlich verfügbaren Einkommen bei. In dem Maße, wie die im Ausland erwirtschafteten Einkommen den privaten Haushalten zufließen, steigt deren Kaufkraft. Die Höhe des Bruttonationaleinkommens ist zudem unmittelbar maßgeblich für die an die Europäische Union zu leistenden Abgaben. Sofern die im Ausland erzielten Vermögenseinkommen wieder im Ausland angelegt werden, tragen sie auch zur Finanzierung des Leistungsbilanzüberschusses bei, der auf internationaler Ebene zunehmend kritisch diskutiert wird.
