Investitionen im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe der neuen Bundesländer: Zwar Rückgang 2002, aber kräftiger Zuwachs 2003 geplant

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse des neuesten ifo Investitionstests Verarbeitendes Gewerbe Neue Bundesländer zeigen, dass das ostdeutsche Verarbeitende Gewerbe im Jahr 2002 - anders als ursprünglich geplant - rückläufige Investitionen aufzuweisen hatte. Für das Jahr 2003 ergibt die Hochschätzung auf Basis der Umfrageangaben mit 7,35 Mrd. s ein gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 14% erhöhtes Investitionsvolumen, wobei über die Hälfte der geplanten Investitionen den Budgets nur dreier Branchen entstammt: der Elektrotechnischen Industrie, dem Straßenfahrzeugbau und der Chemischen Industrie. Demnach ließe die ostdeutsche Industrie mit dem Anstieg im Jahr 2003 die Talsohle der Investitionen hinter sich.
