Verarbeitendes Gewerbe der neuen Bundesländer : nach sechs Jahren mit rückläufigen Investitionen stabiles Volumen 2001 und ein spürbarer Zuwachs 2002 erwartet

Abstract

Das ifo Institut hat in seinem Investitionstest Neue Bundesländer wieder ostdeutsche Industrieunternehmen zu ihren Investitionen befragt. Über 1.100 Meldungen aus allen Branchen und Größenklassen des ostdeutschen verarbeitenden Gewerbes wurden ausgewertet. Die Investitionen des verarbeitenden Gewerbes der neuen Bundesländer erreichten im Jahr 2001 nach ersten Schätzungen ein Volumen von 13,3 Mrd. DM und haben somit das Niveau des Jahres 2000 gehalten. Für das Jahr 2002 ist nach den Planungen ein leichter Investitionszuwachs um knapp 4 % zu erwarten.
