Westdeutsche Industrie: Nach spürbarem Rückgang Investitionsanstieg von 2% für 2003 geplant

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests hat die westdeutsche Industrie 2002 erstmals seit 1994 ihre Investitionen gekürzt. Mit knapp 43,1 Mrd. € lagen die Ausgaben für neue Bauten und Ausrüstungsgüter um rund 7% unter dem Niveau des Vorjahres. Real lag die Veränderungsrate bei 8%. In diesem Jahr will das westdeutsche verarbeitende Gewerbe seine Investitionsausgaben um rund 2% erhöhen. Nach den Meldungen der letzten Umfrage war für 2003 noch mit einem Anstieg von knapp 5% zu rechnen. Der Investitionszuwachs in der gesamtdeutschen Industrie dürfte bei gut 3% liegen, da sich in den neuen Bundesländern eine stärkere Erhöhung abzeichnet.
