Einzelhandel: Enttäuschte Umsatzhoffnungen - verhaltene Investitionstätigkeit

Abstract

Entgegen den ursprünglichen Erwartungen profitiert der Einzelhandel im laufenden Jahr kaum vom Anstieg der verfügbaren Einkommen, so dass insgesamt für das Jahr 2001 nur noch mit einem Umsatzanstieg von nominal 1,5% gerechnet werden kann. Nach den Plänen der am diesjährigen Investitionstest beteiligten Firmen werden die Einzelhandelsinvestitionen dieses Jahr um rund 2% niedriger ausfallen als im Vorjahr. Die Veränderungsrate liegt damit deutlich unter dem Durchschnitt des gesamten Dienstleistungssektors.
