L'Approche Par Les Capacités D'Amartya Sen: Quels Enseignements Pour L'Économie Sociale?

Abstract

RESUME*: Cet article confronte l'approche par les capacités d'Amartya Sen à la perspective de l'économie sociale. Nous exposons dans une première partie l'approche par les capacités. Nous montrons dans une seconde partie que celle‐ci présente une double utilité pour l'économie sociale: une utilité théorique parce qu'elle fournit une « grille de lecture » possible des finalités de l'économie sociale; et une utilité pratique à un double niveau: d'un côté elle donne une nouvelle perspective aux relations entre économie sociale et action publique et de l'autre fournit des instruments d'évaluation à l'économie sociale.
