Interaktion zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft in Deutschland: Ergebnisse einer Umfrage bei Hochschulen und öffentlichen Forschungseinrichtungen

Abstract

Die vorliegende Dokumentation fasst wesentliche Ergebnisse einer breit angelegten Umfrage bei Hochschulen und außeruniversitären Forschungseinrichtungen in Deutschland zu deren Interaktionen mit der Wirtschaft zusammen. Befragt wurden über 850 natur- und ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Forschungseinheiten an allgemeinen Universitäten, Technische Universitäten, Fachhochschulen, der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft, der Heimholtz-Gemeinschaft, der Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft und der Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft G.W. Leibniz. Zum ersten Mal wurden in methodisch vergleichbarer Form einige wichtige Aspekte des Wissens- und Technologietransfers zwischen Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft aus Sicht der öffentlichen Hochschul- und Forschungslandschaft erfasst. Dadurch können die verschiedenen Institutionen der öffentlichen Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen in Deutschland im Wissens- und Technologietransfers hinsichtlich der Intensität der Interaktionen, der genutzten Transferformen sowie die Hemmnisse und Problemfelder beim Wissens- und Technologietransfer charakterisiert werden.
