Die Legitimation der Sonderschule im Lernbehinderungsdiskurs in Deutschland im 20. Jahrhundert

Abstract

Im deutschen Bildungssystem wird das hierarchisch gegliederte Schulwesen durch eine Aussonderung von Schülern an verschiedene Schultypen nach dem Prinzip der Leistungshomogenität organisiert. Die Sonderpädagogik legitimiert die Zuweisung von Grund- und Hauptschülern an Sonderschulen für Lernbehinderte (schulische Separation). Die sonderpädagogischen Kategorisierungs- und Zuweisungspraktiken werden in diesem Beitrag als beispielhaft für die Separation von Schülern im deutschen Schulsystem untersucht. In diesem Beitrag wird diskursanalytisch untersucht, wie die Besonderheit bzw. Abnormalität von Sonderschülern in der Sonderpädagogik bezeichnet, beschrieben und begründet wird. Mit einem wissenssoziologisch-diskursanalytischen Verfahren wird der Zusammenhang zwischen der Konstruktion von Schülersubjekten und dem begrifflichen Instrumentarium der Lernbehinderung empirisch rekonstruiert. Der Beitrag zielt auf eine Erklärung der auf Sonderschüler abgestellten speziellen schulischen Praxis sowie der professionellen und disziplinären Strategien der Sonderpädagogen.
