Corporate Venture Capital als Beitrag zum Wissensmanagement: Eine vergleichende Langzeitstudie in Deutschland

Abstract

Das vorliegende Papier ist mit seiner Vollerhebung des deutschen Corporate Venture Capital- Marktes als eine Art Industrie- oder Branchenreport der CVC-Branche in Deutschland zu betrachten. Sein Ziel ist, einen Überblick über den deutschen CVC-Markt in 2003 zu geben sowie dessen Veränderungen über die Zeit zu beschreiben. Auf Basis zweier Datensätze von 2000/2001 und 2003/2004 wird anhand ausgesuchter Dimensionen - Zielsetzungen und deren Erreichungsgrad, strategische Aufhängung, Fondsstruktur, Entscheidungskompetenzen, Vergütungs- und Anreizstrukturen sowie Kriterien und Prioritäten im Investitionsprozess - der Aspekt der Veränderung bzw. des Wandels dieser Branche nach dem New Economy Einbruch und dem Schließen des Neuen Marktes besonders hervorgehoben. In den Ergebnissen wird deutlich, dass sich die Branche und ihre Teilnehmer in einigen Bereichen stark verändert haben, dass sie gelernt haben. Insbesondere die Ziele, die sie mit ihrem CVC-Programm verfolgen, haben sich die CVCs seit 2000/2001 deutlich den neuen, verschlechterten Rahmenbedingungen angepasst.
