Ein Gravitationsansatz zur Analyse internationaler Tourismusströme nach Deutschland

Abstract

Diese Arbeit untersucht die Übertragbarkeit der aus den Naturwissenschaften stammenden und zur Erklärung internationaler Handelsströme bewährten Gravitationsmodelle auf den internationalen Tourismus. Im Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung steht das durch den deutschen Incoming-Tourismus generierte Handelsvolumen. Zur Durchführung einer Paneldatenanaly-se wird das Gravitationsmodell auf die Besonderheiten des Tourismus abgestimmt, d.h. die Determinanten der Reiseausgaben identifiziert und deren Einfluss bestimmt.
