Verwendungs- und produktionsseitige Zerlegung der Jahresverlaufsrate

Abstract

Seit dem Jahreswechsel von 2017 auf 2018 hat sich die Konjunktur im Euroraum spürbar eingetrübt: Umfragebasierte Indikatoren zur Zuversicht von Unternehmen und Konsumenten sind von ihren zuvor erklommenen Höchstwerten nach und nach zurückgefallen, Indikatoren der ökonomischen Aktivität waren auf breiter Front rückläufig oder stagnierten, und in einzelnen Ländern - etwa in Deutschland oder Italien - wird bereits über Rezessionsgefahren gesprochen. Der gesamtwirtschaftliche Produktionsanstieg war im Jahr 2018 mit durchschnittlich 0,3 Prozent je Quartal deutlich verhaltener als noch im Jahr 2017, als der mittlere Zuwachs bei 0,7 Prozent lag. Wodurch ist der konjunkturelle Schwung im Euroraum seit Anfang des Jahres 2018 verloren gegangen?
