Abstract

Kreativität ist so etwas wie ein Leitwort unserer Zeit geworden, in ihrem Namen werden jetzt Ressourcen aufgewandt, um in der Zukunft Erträge zu realisieren. Dabei ist der Begriff alles andere als klar definiert. Ein Minimalkonsens lässt sich entlang der Wendung, kreativ sei etwas, was Originalität und Wert, Neuheit und Anschlussfähigkeit in sich vereine, finden. Diese Definition lässt jedoch genug Raum dafür, dass sich Entstehungs- und Anwendungskontexte in den Begriff einschreiben können. Das Ergebnis ist ein erhebliches Bedeutungsschillern. Der Text untersucht dieses Schillern, indem er Herkunftskonstellationen nachgeht, den Entwicklungspfad des Begriffes beginnend bei seinen theologischen Anfängen über die Philosophie, die Psychologie, die Soziologie sowie die Hirnforschung und die Pädagogik ausleuchtet. Anschließend werden die begriffsprägenden Handlungsfelder Kunst, Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Politik in den Blick genommen. Ziel ist es, Anhaltspunkte dafür zu gewinnen, wie Kreativität in organisationalen wissenschaftlichen Kontexten realisiert werden kann.
