Innovationsverhalten der Unternehmen in Deutschland 2007: Aktuelle Entwicklungen und die Rolle der Finanzierung

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag untersucht die Innovationsaktivitäten der deutschen Wirtschaft bis zum Jahr 2007, mit einem Schwerpunktteil zur Frage der Finanzierung von Innovationen. Innovationsaktivitäten umfassen dabei - internationalen Konventionen folgend - die Aktivitäten der Unternehmen zur Entwicklung und Einführung neuer Produkte und Prozesse und reichen von Forschungs- und Entwicklungstätigkeit (FuE) bis zur Markteinführung und Implementation neuer Verfahren und den dadurch erzielten direkten wirtschaftlichen Erträgen. Die Innovationsindikatorik erfasst die Innovationsbeteiligung der Unternehmen (Anteil innovativ tätiger bzw. erfolgreich innovierenden Unternehmen), die Höhe und Struktur der finanziellen Aufwendungen für Innovationsprojekte sowie die Innovationserfolge mit neuen Produkten und neuen Prozessen.
