Digitale Transformation in Konzernlageberichten - Empirische Analyse der MDAX-Unternehmen fuer das Geschaeftsjahr 2021

Abstract

Digitale Loesungen wie kuenstliche Intelligenz und Blockchain erhalten zunehmend Einzug in die Geschaeftsprozesse deutscher Unternehmen. Informationen ueber deren Einsatz werden haeufig detailliert im Konzernlagebericht innerhalb des Geschaeftsberichtes eines Unternehmens beschrieben, weshalb dieser eine bevorzugte Informationsquelle fuer Stakeholder darstellt, die sich ein Bild vom Digitalisierungsstand eines Unternehmens machen moechten. Bereits publizierte Studien, die den Informationsgehalt in Geschaeftsberichten dahingehend untersuchen, konzentrieren sich jedoch bislang nur auf DAX Unternehmen und lassen andere Aktienindizes unberuecksichtigt. Die vorliegende Untersuchung versucht durch die empirische Betrachtung der Berichterstattung von MDAX-Unternehmen diese Forschungsluecke ein Stueck weit zu schliessen.
