Abstract

El propósito principal de este documento es presentar alternativas a la UMC para su trabajo futuro desde el Ministerio y/o con otras instancias. Para ello, en este primer capítulo se hace un balance de las tendencias o alternativas de orientación de las evaluaciones nacionales e internacionales de logros de aprendizaje escolar en que están involucrados los países del continente. El segundo capítulo revisa de manera crítica las evaluaciones y el uso que diversos actores han dado a la información generada en el Perú por la misma UMC. El tercer capítulo contiene una propuesta, emergente de lo visto en los 2 primeros capítulos, para el desarrollo de la UMC. El cuarto capítulo contiene un breve resumen del presente informe.
