Gouvernance territoriale durable via les PME : L’exemple de la région Aquitaine

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide an analysis on a panel of 18 French small businesses (from a specific region, the Aquitaine), the representation they have of the sustainable development, the territories and their relations with local administration. Through a textual analysis, we show that the assumption of a local sustainable development driven by the couple companies-local authorities companies seems realistic to date. Maximizing the welfare of the population, a proactive policy from local administration would then constitute the basis for a sustainable territorial attractiveness.
