Abstract

"Der demografische Wandel in Deutschland wird zu einem Rückgang der Bevölkerungszahl und einem steigenden Durchschnittsalter der Bevölkerung führen. In der Folge ist mit einem sinkenden Erwerbspersonenpotenzial zu rechnen. Dies trifft auch für Bayern zu, wobei Prognosen für den Freistaat von einer zeitverzögerten und abgeschwächten Entwicklung mit großen regionalen Unterschieden ausgehen. Um den Folgen des demografischen Wandels zu begegnen, kommen verschiedene Handlungsfelder in Frage. Exemplarisch werden in diesem Bericht die Entwicklung der Beschäftigung von Älteren und von Frauen, die Qualifikationsstruktur sowie die berufliche Struktur in Bayern dargestellt. Darüber hinaus wird als weiterer Aspekt die Entwicklung der Renten in Bayern betrachtet. Der Fokus liegt dabei darauf, dass die Höhe der Renten ein Faktor ist, der die Arbeitsnachfrage beeinflusst und vor dem Hintergrund der steigenden Zahl Älterer an Bedeutung gewinnt. Schließlich wird anhand von Ergebnissen des Projekts GeniAL ein Einblick über den betrieblichen Umgang mit alternden Belegschaften präsentiert." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
