Abstract

"Verglichen mit anderen Bundesländern hat Baden-Württemberg einen recht geringen Tertiarisierungsgrad. Er liegt im Durchschnitt des Analysezeitraums (1999 - 2013) bei 63,4 Prozent und ist damit der niedrigste Wert aller Bundesländer. Doch innerhalb Baden-Württembergs variiert der Dienstleistungsanteil je Region zwischen unter 50 Prozent und über 80 Prozent. Diese unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkte legen die Vermutung nahe, dass die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung innerhalb Baden-Württembergs keineswegs gleichmäßig verläuft. Ziel dieser Studie ist es, zu untersuchen, wie sich Unterschiede nicht nur in der Branchenstruktur, sondern auch in der Betriebsgrößen- und Qualifikationsstruktur auf die regionale Beschäftigungsentwicklung auswirken. Neben diesen Strukturkomponenten werden auch die Einflüsse regionaler Standortbedingungen analysiert. Eine solche Analyse ist für Baden-Württemberg bereits im Jahr 2005 durchgeführt worden. In diesem Bericht werden die Ergebnisse für einen aktuelleren Zeitraum präsentiert und es wird verglichen, ob sich wesentliche Veränderungen zu früheren Untersuchungen ergeben haben."
