Verteilung von Arbeitslosigkeit im Erwerbsleben: Hohe Konzentration auf wenige - steigendes Risiko für alle

Abstract

"Langfristige Beobachtungen des deutschen Arbeitsmarkts zeigen, dass Arbeitslosigkeit in den alten Bundesländern sehr ungleichmäßig verteilt ist: Während über 60 Prozent eines Geburtsjahrgangs im Alter von 25 bis 50 Jahren keinerlei Erfahrung mit Arbeitslosigkeit machen, konzentriert sich die Hälfte des gesamten Arbeitslosigkeitsvolumens auf 5 Prozent der Personen. Bei jüngeren Geburtsjahrgängen streut das Betroffenheitsrisiko allerdings zunehmend. Dies ergibt eine Analyse der 1950 bis 1954 geborenen Personen in den alten Bundesländern anhand der IAB-Beschäftigtenstichprobe." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
