Abstract

Les hypothèses qui caractérisent l'état de concurrence parfaite constituent le point de départ naturel des théories qui tentent d'expliquer le fonctionnement des marchés imparfaits. Les imperfections du marché résultent de la violation de l'une au moins des quatre hypothèses suivantes : multiplicité des participants au marché, homogénéité du produit échangé, libre entrée sur le marché, et information parfaite des agents économiques. Chacune de ces imperfections a donné lieu à des développements théoriques particuliers, conduisant à une mosaïque complexe dont il n'est pas toujours aisé d'identifier les fils conducteurs. Le présent exposé reflétera cette mosaïque puisqu'il vise à illustrer la nature de certaines contributions récentes ayant pour objet l'analyse des marchés quand au moins l'une des hypothèses de la concurrence parfaite est violée.
