Gouvernance et transition : le rôle du FMI dans la conduite des réformes en Russie

Abstract

La discussion académique sur les causes de l'échec de la transition de l'économie russe dans les années 1990 interroge le rôle du FMI. Pour étayer cette discussions, nous caractérisons son mode de gouvernance dans le cas russe, c'est à dire la façon dont ses préconisations sont appliquées par le gouvernement. Nous montrons que deux périodes doivent être distinguées entre 1992 et 1998, durant lesquelles ce mode de gouvernance n'a pas pris la même forme, provoquant deux types de trajectoire économique contrastés.
