Abstract

Cet article propose une nouvelle orientation pour l'étude de la diffusion d'information sociétale. Une revue de littérature concernant la description et l'explication des pratiques de diffusion d'information sociétale est menée et souligne la faiblesse des résultats des études. La pertinence de l'instrument d'analyse de la diffusion d'information sociétale est discutée. Afin d'améliorer la description des pratiques et pour établir un lien systématique entre diffusion d'information sociétale et performance sociétale, une méthode qualitative est proposée. A partir d'un échantillon de quinze entreprises françaises, une analyse exploratoire de la diffusion d'information sociétale est menée, soulignant l'intérêt de l'approche alternative que nous proposons.
