Abstract

Depuis le début de la construction européenne, les politiques sociales sont essentiellement du ressort des États membres. Ce choix, effectué à l'origine dans une zone économiquement homogène, est devenue progressivement source de concurrence entre modèles sociaux. Les instances européennes doivent se saisir de ce problème pour que l'intégration économique et sociale progressent de concert.
